:no Good gosh. You gotta wonder where people come up with this stuff. I wish I could invite these people into my home, and they can go through my fridge, freezer and pantry and tell me what's so awful that I'm eating. I didn't realize that a fridge packed full of fresh veggies was a bad thing. Oh well...

And I also think I bought the wrong copy of the book. I too missed the "gorging" chapter. And I must be doing something wrong because my diet isn't centered around pork rinds, eggs, bacon, steak, butter and cream.

(I've never even had a pork rind before! I didn't realize it was supposed to be a staple! lol)

In this hands-on interactive workshop, Dr. Michael Greger addresses topics such as preparing an action, staying safe and sensible at an action, how to get medical care for injured demonstrators and what to do after an action for physical and mental well-being. He will cover how to protect oneself from tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets, as well as teach everyone how to treat chemical weapons exposure. 60 min. Target audience: Activists. "

The guy is a nut. And the poor poster of the original message probably has no clue who he is or why he is against the Atkins WOE.
How to get medical attention for injured demostrators, hmm they must be refering to all the demostrations that crossed my path while I was coming home with some buds packing our harvest during deer season.

as far as getting protection from tear gas, mace, rubber bullets - who said anything about rubber, there wont be rubber in my bullets. I hate these idiots all running around protesting when they have no clue why they are even protesting. Even when they start riots mindless violence. "animals have rights too!!!" yeah yeah they have the right to be food, and I'm glad they are exercising that right! If they want to help go send them to a jungle and have them educate a black mombo or Taipan (if thats spelled right) have them go up to a lion and inform that lion of its rights.

What I really find amusing about guys like the doc of the website are the animals rights activist in leather shoes...

They all bash atkins picking and chosing what they want to say ignoring the hard truths. You can't believe any of it. They simply don't want to say that they are wrong...Dr. Atkins was right!

I think it is important to remember that this statement is true! If we do stop this WOE/WOL, we will gain our weight back. Remember, this is a lifestyle change. We get to add foods back little by little to see how our body reacts to the different foods. But if we start eating like we used to preAtkins, we will gain the weight back.

Good point! For some reason, everybody just loves to slam Atkins! I don't understand it. :nono Look at all of the success so many people on this board alone have had with this WOE/WOL! Why do so many people find it acceptable to slam this WOE? I guess because they never tried it, or even read the book for that matter!

I know this is the only WOE/WOL for me!
