    horseradish & auju

Gonna have prime rib tonight is horseradish and auju for dipping legal?

IF not, what can I dip my steak in? Going to outback.

The horseradish may have sugar in it.

The au jus sauce may be made with wine.

But I don't know what ingredients the guys from Outback use...

Why do you need to dip your steak in anything?

A well made steak should be able to stand on it's own.

You also want to make sure you get the steak without the seasonings ... since brown sugar is likely to be one of the seasonings at Outback.

Au jus should just be pan juices ... you can ask if they add any wine.

Yeah baby i love my steak on the rare side, with no dips or sauces or anything, just its own juice. I am almost certain that horseradish dip will contain sugar because sugar is usually used to "smoothen" strong flavors like horseradish, or salty and spicy foods like taco fillings. It would probably be okay in very small amounts but it appears you are on induction so you'll probably want to avoid t.

Order your steak without the "glaze" at outback.

does prime rib come with glaze?
At of all the cuts offered which is the best? does it matter?
I was thinking ribeye too - i dont think i've ever had it cuz it's so expensive.
but is there one that is better than another for induction?

Ask for raw horseradish instead of the sour cream mix, which may include other seasonings as mentioned above.

the house salad on there says that it's 15grams of carbs with no dressing?
is that cuz they mite be counting croutons?

                              >>can I trust the nutrional tool that tells me how many carbs in the steaks?>>

When I looked at the nutritional information of the Victoria's Fillet, 7 oz., the carb count seemed reasonable. The 0.7 carbs are coming from the seasoning, I'm sure.

                              >>I dont know which cut of steak is best?>>

Depends on what you like. Some people like different cuts.
