My 14 day induction has ended....

Well... I have completed my 14 day induction and I am glad to say that I have lost 12 pounds total. So I still have 88+ to lose. My goal is to reach 165 but depending on how I feel at that weight, I will decide if I should keep losing or stay at that weight. I don't see myself as being a skinny girl... I am Latin so my DH loves some meat on me and I do to. SO I figure 165 should do. But I am happy with my acheivment so far. I am going to stay on Extended Induction... Maybe until I reach 225 then I will move to OWL.

I just wanted to share my acheivment. It was hard but well worth it. The first checkoff list on DANDR.. I think I checked off everything down the list.... about being tired and sick, etc.... Now I did the check list again... WOW, what a difference. I feel great, so much better with so much energy!!!. iI sleep so much better and my clothes is getting loose. I don't say after I eat "I'm about to blow up"!

Thanks for eveyone's aupport. I am glad I found this site.

Re: My 14 day induction has ended....

Thanks eveyone for their support. Yesterday I felt hungrier than usual and I went to the fridge and realized that I didn't have any low carb snacks. I have bunch of vegetables but I ususally perfer with dinner or lunch. SO I ran to the store and bought me some mozzerella cheese sticks. ANd it was so good. so I was happy I didn't settle for something from my pantry... that's a first.

You are doing great! I am on day 5 of my Return to Induction. I have lost about 2 pounds, but I am a slow loser.
The best thing is all of those "checklist" items--sleeping better, more energy, less bloated feeling. Even though my losses are always slow, I feel so much better eating this way.
Congrats on the trip to the store. You ran into a huge obstacle that might have derailed your progress, and made you feel guilty and terrible, and you handled it with determination. You should be proud!

                    Congratulations!!

I never really had a weight loss goal because I had no idea what I was going to look like as I lost weight. I used to tell people my goal is to be healthy and as far as the weight, I'd know it when I saw it.

                    Keep up the great work.

Just remember OWL Rung 1 is 5 additional net carbs of vegetables -- it will give you a little more variety and there is no need to rush up the Rungs.....good luck on the rest fo your journey.
