    Re: What to do...

    Very normal stuff in scandinavia too so it is a matter of looking for the right name of things. And they are so into brans and stuff. I am sure you can find that were you are too.

      Yeah that's what I was thinking...

      I usually get my fiber from flaxmeal muffins, flaxmeal pizza crust, flaxmeal pancakes, mix flaxmeal in cottage cheese etc etc etc...

          Re: What to do...

          linsseed = lijnzaad in Dutch
          flax = vlas in Dutch
          linseed = Leinsamen in German
          flax = Flachs in German

          I did a serach and found LSA (Linseed, Sunflower and Almond) a brand called Ceres Organic L S A 700gm...which is made in Holland...

          is an online store in the Netherlands that sells Linseed
          and the brand name is Zonnatura....maybe give them a call and see where they have outlets

          Hope that helps

            I found some Lijnzaad at a biological store in the center called Eco Plaza. It was E2,35 for 500g...I will continue to look for cheaper but I am happy

            They had Zonnatura but it was more expensive. I got one from a company called "De Nieuwe Band" (The New Connection or something like that).

            I will try the muffin later and see how it goes.

            Thanks everyone!

                Re: What to do...

                I haven't really looked at how the rungs work, so I may not be helping right now, but what about Fibre 1 cereal? It is made by General Mills, and has 14g of fibre per 1/2 cup. Net carbs would be 11 though. Quite high. Don't know if you can eat it though.

                  Re: What to do...

                  I probably could, but I would have to go to one of the import stores and pay 3x as much for it.

                  I got pretty close to my goal today of 30-35g, with 27.5g of fiber and 39.4 NET Carbs.

                  I am pleased
