  • waffle question

I had this for breakfast today, it was inspired from the mock danish. I am wondering if it is safe for induction. I believe it is, but I just want input from others, because I want more!! I plugged it into sparkpeople- 452 calories, 4 carbs (2 from 1tsp of ground cinnamon!!), 47 g of fat, 7 g of protein.

I didn't know cinnamon had that many carbs!!

    1 egg
    3 tbsp mayo
    1/2 packet splenda
    1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Mix and put in waffle maker

Microwave 1/2 packet splenda, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1tbsp of butter.

    Drizzle sauce over waffle..

    IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

I would like another, but that would be another 452 cals!! WHOA! If I were to make it again, I would omit the cinnamon (because of the carb count)..

So then, really I would only have used 2 servings of AS, because eggs and mayo are unlimited, RIGHT?

What's in the sauce? OK, I see it now. Calories do add up. But it looks like a great way to up the fat! I don't whip cream anymore because I love it too much. Too much of anything will get you. Definitely an interesting recipe though.

My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

1/2 tsp. of cinnamon is .3 net carbs. Did you remember to subtract the fiber?

The carb counts I get using Fitday (which uses the USDA database):

      1 large egg ... .4 net carbs
      3 Tbs. mayonnaise ... 1.6 net carbs
      1/2 packet Splenda ... .45 net carbs
      1/2 tsp. cinnamon ... .3 net carbs

      That's 2.75 net carbs.

I also got 373 calories, 6.8 grams protein, and 37.4 grams of fat.

Is this the Sparkpeople entry you used for ground cinnamon?
