Hi Everyone
I'm new to this site and fairly new to Atkins.
Started induction on 7th November, felt awful through the first few days but stuck to it and then on day 5 suddenly felt fantastic. Slipped up BADLY a couple of times in the second week (couldn't resist some chips!).
Weighed myself at the end of the two weeks and only managed to shift 1kg (2.2lbs) but I was convinced I had lost more as I've basically almost dropped a dress size - my jeans and work trousers are now hanging off me!
I was quite gutted at the small loss but found this forum extremely helpful and reassurring and where I would usually have given up I am even more determined to do it right and continue losing, even if it is at a slow pace.
This week I am drinking more water and cutting out the diet coke. I also have a feeling that I may have been eating too much cheese (was eating 3/4 babybels/cheesestrings a day for snacks). I had also been eating processed meats (like sandwich style stuff).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
