right ive been on atkins for a month now and i thought i was doing great!
i just weighed myself tonight and i dont know if my scales are playing tricks but ive put on nearly 14 pounds in 5 days?
do you think this might just be with the amount of water im drinking?
i drink atleast 5 litres of water a day,i feel great, just wondered why i can put on so much weight in no time?its very offputing
im sticking with the induction for now,any help support would be great
please note im only eating induction food and have done for the past month

They could make you hold a little water, but not 14 pounds worth I wouldn't think. The clothes shouldn't be loose if you're holding that much water, heck you might look toxic holding that much water! Check the scale, maybe get a new one if it can't be fixed. You should be eating two cups of salad veggies plus one cup of veggies from the other list on induction. That's it for your veggies until you move to OWL. Checkout the facts in these forums anytime you are in doubt about what you are eating. Sausages can have fillers, bacon can be sugar cured so be careful of anything that isn't fresh and in its natural state. You wouldn't believe what sugar and corn syrup are added to. Even Rotisserie chickens can be shot up with sugar water. I'm so not even kidding about that one! Try hamburger, country style ribs, chicken leg-quarters for good cheap meats if you have any trouble finding safe sausages. You don't even want to know how many times I've eaten something and bloated because I didn't study the label hard enough, soon enough. Just check the foods list, then double check your food labels just to be safe.
