    Are you constipated?

    Don't be discouraged. So many things impact our weight - like hormones so we may not always see losses. Just keep working on it.

      I was wondering this as well, although I do know how frustrating it is to hear things like, "But you don't need to lose any weight!" when you know your own body and want to feel better about it.

      One thing that I didn't see mentioned here was salt. When I was younger this had zero impact on my weight, but now it puffs me up quite a bit! The sausage may have quite a bit, which would be yet another reason, in addition to the ones already listed, to ditch it, at least for now.

      If it makes you feel better, I've read the book and have been doing Atkins for quite some time, but I have to reference the book constantly to remind myself of what I can and cannot eat. It tends to be an ongoing learning process, so don't feel bad about not having it all sorted out already.

        You guys are awesome Thank you for your tips on what I am doing wrong... as well as encouragement from those of you who have been where I am . I am going to pay careful attention to my list of foods, and go shopping, and organize my meals in advance. I think this will help Ok, so I will officially start induction (the correct way) tomorrow. Lets see how it goes. Thanks again

          Also you fat intake appears to be way too low. How much of these foods do you eat? in ounces and/or cups?
