This is a load of hooey. I eat bread, I want more bread shortly, and so on, and so on, and so on. Eating carb-rich foods results in getting cravings for more carb-rich foods, and the cycle never ends. Nothing in bread makes me not want to eat more (unless it's just a crappy bread)!
Pasta is another one of those foods that I can eat, and eat, and eat... and want more and more and more... expecting a person to eat an ice cream scoop's worth is silly. It's better to forgo than try to manage that nonsense.
But it's a carb-bomb that spikes your blood sugar and you end up burning THAT rather than fat! 
Better - BUT... screw the light varieties, they taste like plastic and do you no favors. Decent real cheese is the only way to go.
Talking about chocolate, and EATING it, are two different things! It's also one of those foods - like nuts - that a lot of people have a serious issue with portion control.

That's one reason why I always tell people how I lost weight when they ask. I don't know how many people they'll ask the same question to. I did see someone loose a lot at WW, so it happens for some people. I was hungry the whole time I did WW. This was better. I think Atkins is the secret the food industry wants to hide. They are putting corn syrup in everything so people will overeat the stuff. They know why they are adding the sugar, so people will overeat. But junk is cheap, it takes time to grow real meat and veggies. If all people ate as we do, over half of the store would disappear. In the end, I think they worry more over that than they do my health.
