Well, nothing like trying to get advice from this group to make you feel like cr*p!
When I visited them, I tried to explain to them what I eat. The fed me full of cheese and peas (Veggies, right?) I refuse to make 2 meals just to accomudate them. There is NOTHING wrong with the way I eat! I figured you guys would understand. Guess I was wrong again!

Why are you upset if you asked for advice and got it? Because most of the posters thought you were going about this visit the wrong way?

Gosh darn, you won't even buy a carton of skim milk for your Dad/guest? Advice and agreeing with your opinion are two different things.

And no one said there is anything wrong with the way you eat...hello? Remember, we are Atkins people too. No one told you that YOU are eating wrong. Maybe WE all think the rest of the world is eating wrong. But it is not up to us to force them to eat the way we do. And this is your family, and you should make them feel comfortable and welcome. Sounds like maybe the problem here isn't the food.
