    I ate one chocolate cookie with caramel on it but drank a lot of water afterwards. We also had some homemade egg nog with a little rum. Back on track today.

      Ate more than I planned to, but did quite well.

      I had a planned drink with neighbors (a shot of Brandy), some cashews and macadamia nuts (not on the nut rung yet), and a 1" wide slice of lemon meringue pie that I was guilted into.

      I feel great today (probably cause I drank an extra 64 oz when I got home last night), no cravings, and as always drinking lots of water.

        I ate far too many pistachios - more than allowed on this rung - and I didn't get all of my water in (my goal is 120 oz a day - only drank 3 32 oz bottles instead of the at least 4 I aim for daily).

        So, I have chocolates given to me this year, but I think I will stick them in the freezer for some other day. Sweets are not a huge issue for me, but I was kinda scared to have any at all because I'm just not at a point where I feel like I can swerve a bit off plan just yet - I don't feel safe flying too far off plan at this point.

        Y',see, it's not the chocolate that'll get me - it's the "I had a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup mini, no biggie... oh, look, Nacho Cheese Doritos, a couple won't hurt me... NOM NOM NOM NOM!"

            I stayed on plan, but ate too much of the good stuff. I could binge on celery I swear. LOL Today I had cravings, first in quite a long time. I think I ate too many carbs, all veggie and all good veggie, but still... too many and wonder if that's why I was craving today. I stood my ground, though, and got through it. It's hard sometimes.

              I made me a salad and put in a Take Along container and ate that and nothing else.

                ive put on 6lb in just a few days and it started to go wrong the day i made the cheesecake in the desert section lol it was for the whole family but it was mainly me that ate it (dont think il make it again its just too nice) apart from that food wise ive stayed on plan(my family have eaten 3 big tins of sweets and not 1 has passed my lips so im very happy bout that ) but drank a **** of a lot of scotch which i havnt done for ages so perhaps thats the weight gain ,anyway back up the gym at 6am morning so all is good )))))))

                  I didn't cheat on Christmas day... I did on the 24th with 3 chocolate chip cookies, got back right on plan.

                          If limited food choices are an issue for you, then it's a good idea to eat before leaving home, especially if you are unsure whether there will be enough low carb food/options available.

                            i REALISE i SHOULD DO MORE PREPERATION ESPECIALLY PLAN IN ADVANCE WHAT IM COOKING.SOMETIMES IM HUNGARY AND WILL WAIT 20 MINS OR SO BECAUSE I WILL HAVE TO COOK THE MEAL.

                              I cheated by drinking Diet Mountain Dew. I have an 8 hour drive from 8pm to 4am and didn't feel I could get through it without caffeine.
