Or is it? I found an interesting article, published in the Nutrition Journal in 2004. So some of you may have already seen this. It's very scientific, but if you can get through it it's worth the read. It explains why a calorie is NOT just a calorie and why the Atkins way of eating does indeed create a metabolic advantage.
I have to believe in what I'm doing. It has to make logical sense to me, so I've been doing a lot of research.
Maybe newer people to the forum haven't read this yet. Interesting stuff.

He then added that of course, just jelly beans would not give you proper nutrition.
Too late...many people will come away from that presentation thinking it's OK to eat junk as long as you watch your total calories.
