Well, like I said before, I've gotten plenty of good advice on this board.
Seeing patients in an office is not "testing". I don't believe he conducted controlled tests which would be having 100 patients add dairy to their diet before legumes and another 100 adding legumes before dairy. The patients and doctor preferably would not know which group they were in (hard in this case). Then you would be able to say with certainty that it's critical to add dairy before legumes. If Dr. Atkin's were here, I'm pretty sure he'd agree that it's a guideline and the important thing is to cut down carbs, especially the empty calorie ones, while developing a diet without significant omissions and that one can stick with.
