  • Join In & Share Yours On The Mini Goal Thread

    Hello to all of my Mini Goal Friends ~ It has been brought to my attention by one of our Wonderful "ADBB" Moderator's that the "Mini Goal Thread" will be more effective if it is kept as a single running Thread rather than a New one posted everyday. That way, folks can look at the older posts and see the progression and all the other Awesome things without having to do a search or look through back pages of the forum.

    Plus it saves me from having to post a new thread everyday and if Iam unable to make it on the Board on any day, I won't have to worry that no one's been able to post Their Daily Mini Goal . This will be effective today Monday Jan 11th, 2010 !!!

    Hello to all of my Mini Goal Friend's & What a Bright Sunny Sunday, but Cold 15' Morning we are having here in Northern Maryland Today !!!

    We are here at the Weekend for some of us a big challenge point of the week food wise.

    Please ALWAYS remember that our AWESOME Forum is here 24/7 to help you through any bumpy spots in the road !!!

    My Mini Goal's for today are AGAIN to drink all of my 100oz of water, to Stick Strickly to my WOE Plan !!!

    I have now taken off 3.3 AWESOME pounds of the weight that I had gained back !!! YEA & WHOO HOO 4 ME !!!

    I can's wait to get this YUCKIE Steroid weight back off & regain my Level 3 Pre~Maint Status again !!!

    Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone Whatever Your Plan's & Mini Goal's May Be !!!

      Good morning Cindi!

      Here in Ontario it's chilly, but nice. There's snow on the ground, but none in the air right now.

      My Atkins mini-goals for the day are to get some exercise in, stick to my Induction plan, write out my grocery list (and shop for it!), and pre-cook some meals ahead of time for my busy week ahead. Water's never been a problem for me, I'm almost done a 1.5L bottle already, and it's only 9 am here.

      Mini Goals:
      Goal 1: 240 lbs.
      Goal 2: 220 lbs.
      Goal 3: 200 lbs.
      Goal 4: 180 lbs.
      Goal 5: 160 lbs.
      Goal 6: 140 lbs.

      Current Challenges:
      30 Day Shred: L1 0/15 * L2 0/15 * L3 0/15
      January Squats: 0/500
      January Mileage: 0/40 miles (stationary bike)
      January Push-ups: 0/500
      January Strength: 0/300 minutes
      January Abs: 0/500 crunches
      January Stability Ball: 0/180 minutes

        I did not make my goal yesterday which was to run
        I am running today. It is mild enough to run outside today. So that will be a treat.
        But my minigoal today will once again be no PB
        (I love come here and say that because it make me stronger)
        Startdate: November 18, 2007. Female 5'2"

        May Challenges 2010
        Push-ups: 450/800
        Abs: 850/1900
        Squats: 650/1200
        Lunges: 500/1000
        Strength: 490/1200
        Running: 50/100 km

            Maybe if we are making this a long thread Cindi you should edit your first post. I can change the title of the post. What do you want the title to be. Daily minigoals: Post here maybe

              For today 11.01.10 my mini goal is to stay away from anything not allowed on induction. I've got some killer cravings.

                  Hello to all of my Mini Goal Friend's !!!

                  Today's Tuesday my Fav day of the week "Family Day"
                  I will pick~up my Grandgirlie Makayla at 12:30 after Pre~K & then my Son will be here at 5:30 for Dinner.

                  At a lovley 25' here in Northern Maryland today Iam still sure she will want to ride her new pink 4~wheeler she got for Xmas. Lot's of Bundling~Up for the Gramy as cold & Lupus don't like each other !!! BRRRR Yes she is a bit spoiled !!! LOL

                  We are here day 2 of a Wonderful New "Atkins" Whole Food's Filled Week & for some of us that can also be a big challenge point food wise, going back to work, etc.

                  Please ALWAYS remember that our AWESOME Forum is here 24/7 to help you through any bumpy spots in the road !!!

                  My Mini Goal's for today are AGAIN to drink all of my 100oz of water, to Stick Strickly to my WOE Plan. No Picking at all of the extra food's on the Family Dinner Nite Table tonight !!!

                    Cindi - family day sounds fun!

                    I kept my goal for yesterday - I didn't eat off plan even though my husb was eating cashews (I'm on induction).

                    Today's mini-goal is not to despair and to go to kickboxing.

                      This thread saved me yesterday - I was so close to putting that spoon in that jar and then I said but that means I would have broken my mini goal and I decided to be a strong big girl.

                          For me, today...staying ON PLAN. I didn't actually cheat, but I really slacked on eating my veggies the last couple days, and I can tell the difference in how my body feels! So today started with onions and broccoli in my scrambled eggs. Also, tonight is my good friend's birthday celebration out at a restaurant. Here's to saying NO to sugary mixed drinks and carby appetizers! It's a good excuse to get another salad in! To be fair, I usually don't have an issue eating Atkins when out, and all my friends are not only aware of how I eat but are supportive of it too...love them!
                          I will ONLY weigh once per week! I will refer to DANDR 2002 and this forum when I have questions. I will revel in new recipes, new clothes, and the new feeling of being happy in my skin. I will hold myself accountable to do this the right way, without excuses, because I know that Atkins is the best thing for my health and happiness. I. Will. Succeed!
