    I am so amazed! Thank you guys for being so supportive and encouraging me to just stick with it. This is my first time on Atkins and I am on Induction day 11. I have somehow lost 12 lbs already! Are you kidding me?? I am so excited I could scream and I haven't had a single craving. I feel great, have energy, sleep well, etc.!! I'll be at my goal in no time! At first I didn't think anything much was happening (even at the beginning of this week), but I woke up this morning and my pants were hanging on me. It's as if my body finally decided to let go of the fat and said "to heck with it"! Is that possible?

      F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

              Thanks for posting this. I love reading posts like yours. I'm only on day 3 of induction and it's nice to think maybe I'll experience the same thing.

                just hang in there no matter what happens...that first week can be tough. stay off the scales (i highly recommend it) and weigh weekly or even wait until day 14. drink plenty of water and don't forget your veggies. when i started eating more, i started dropping!!
