I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wendys double Baconator!!! I LOVE Backyard Burgers Mushroom Swiss Burgers too!!! Just wanted to see what the rest of you like to eat or DID eat when on induction!
Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
In terms of national fast food places, I probably ate a Burger King whopper (no ketchup, no bun, no mustard) once or twice during my Induction.
During my OWL, a mom-and-pop burger place opened near my office. THAT was the BEST! Their burger patties were like homemade patties---thick and juicy. And they offered a bunch of different toppings---3 kinds of cheese, hot peppers, sweet peppers, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed or raw onions, tomato, 2 kinds of mustard, lettuce, mayo, bacon, etc.---for you to choose. I used to order my burger without the bun and they had no problem with it. Unfortunately.....they closed due to lack of business and it was reasonably priced ($5) for the amount of food you got. I mean, you didn't have to order a salad because there was enough veg on those burgers. My friend ordered a burger with the same toppings as mine (his had the bun, since he's not a low carber) and it was about 3-4 inches high.
Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
If eating at a fast food place I most generally order the burger protein-style. If eating at Pizza Hut I order the All-American Traditional Wings. They're plain but mighty tasty.
Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
I like a McDonalds McDouble with a little mayo and onion, sans the bun. Their grilled chicken breast isn't half bad either
3 years ago, I lost 60 pounds in 12 weekson Atkins.
I have PCOS, which makes my weight REALLY sensitive to carb intake, and I've gained back most of it since going off plan.
Restarting 02/07/10.
Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
I like a good steak, with sauteed mushrooms...lol...but i'm poor so that's rare (no pun intended). I have been enjoying chicken salad and egg salad alot lately.
Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
Hmmm, Fast Food would be In-and-Out Burgers, Double-double, protien wrap with grilled onions, pickles, and mustard instead of sauce. Yummmm!! 100% Beef w/no additives.

Re: Whats your favorite fast food induction meal??
I don't trust much fast food, even what seems to be safe. The only things I allow myself to have are an occasional Hardee's Low Carb burger (no ketchup, probably saves a carb or two), a burger from BackYard Burger toss the bun, or some roast beef sandwich from Arby's (just the meat, no bun, with a little mayo - I emailed them several times and finally got a response that the meat itself, plain, had zero carbs).
I try to avoid this, and just consider it an occasional treat or an emergency meal if I get stuck out and about for longer than I planned.
