Question for those that really know their stuff.....Maybe a kinesiologist (sp?) or other nutritionist?
For Non-Atkins peeople: They say that working out in the morning is much more productive than working out in the evening, because in the afternoon you have to get through stored glucose before you start tapping into fat stores. In the mornings, since your body as been fasting for 8 hours, you will not have to work through as much stored glucose so you will almost immediately start tapping into fat reserves. They say a 30 minute routine in the morning is equal to a 60 minute routine in the afternoon.
For Atkins people: Since we do not have to work through any glucose reserves, is it as beneficial to workout in the morning? For me, I can workout out longer in the afternoon than working out in the morning and I HATE getting up at 5:00 a.m.
