So I am a little confused about the carb count on Atkins Bars. I have a Chocolate Peanut Butter Advantage Bar and the little bullet points on the front of the package list that there are 18g protein, 1g sugar, Only 2g net carbs, but the nutrition facts are as follows: Calories 240, total fat 12g, Total Carb. 22g, Dietary Fiber 10g, Sugars 1g, Sugar Alcohols 0g, Protein 18g.
I guess my question is, how are net carbs figured. I thought that you would subtract the dietary fiber from the total carbs, but that doesn't figure according to the Atkins Bar package. According to my figuring, there would be 11g net carbs (22g-11g), but the package says 2g net carbs.
Please help.
