    Re: Basal Metabolic Rate...

I eat an average of 1700-1800 calories per day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I know my BMR is much higher but I'm just not hungry enough to eat more. I eat until full or sated and often put away extras/leftovers because I can't finish it. Fat is usually around 60-65%, 20-30 net carbs. Exercise is probably not as much lately due to some health issues, but I'm ramping it up again so I may end up more hungry and eating more.

I mostly watch calories to make sure I'm not eating too little (less than 1300) on average. I also lose about 1 lb a week on average. Some times 2 lbs a week, but other times no loss. I sure hope that slower is better because that's my pace.
    Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"

    Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

what is obesity? obesity is a diseased state most people who are really obease are very malnourished

you need to eat lots of healthy food to get healthy once you lose that fat and the loads of toxins stored in your fat cells (drinking lots of water helps flush them out) your body's upkeep and requirements to be healthy will go down and you will naturally eat less

I think everyone posting on this string is doing absolutley fantastic! Give yourselves a pat on the back. Hearing that others have the same fears, concerns, and situationsas me really inspires and pushes me forward during my weak moments (which I frequently have). Thank you.
