To add to it, you are currently the most popular poster at atkins.com (and don't blush, it's not a compliment). You support everything that atkins.com/ANI is doing. If today we weigh vegetables, you write that people should weigh vegetables to "get an accurate count". If tomorrow the wind blows the other way and the new book talks about cups, you automatically change your mind and think (do you actually think?) cups are the way to go.

You act like Marketing's little atkins.com/ANI advertising machine. Heck, they should pay you for it! In bars and shakes... we know you L.O.V.E. those.

So why are you here Baylor? Why are almost all your posts either about atkins.com or about the new book? Are you trying to enlighten us by promoting what you consider to be a superior source of information (atkins.com) on a "pseudo Atkins forum" (ADBB)?

PS: Everyone interested can look up Baylor's posts on google.
Nat, I did not bring up Atkins.com in this thread. I just commented on it. I learned about Atkins like many people here. Reading and getting advice from people and trying it all out. I weighed my veggies for a long time but have recently gone back to the cups as measurements and love it. I think everyone needs to try all the ways to do it and see what works best for them. I don't think there is one way to do Atkins and that many people can do it differently and still be right on target and lose weight.

You seem very angry at my presence here however I see other people posting at both places with no attacks.

I do not post at Atkins.com to be popular but to help people find their best Atkins. I am passionate about the plan and am so thrilled to be living Atkins for almost 2 years now again. I am healthier and stronger than I have ever been.

I did not start this discussion. Merely commented. I am not over here promoting anything. Just reading a lot and posting now and then. I really enjoying browsing the success stories and seeing how people are doing.

Those comments you posted were made a while back. I am sorry if they bothered you. I am passionate about Atkins and their plan and their site. I think it is a valuable resource. I apologize for the pseudo comment. However I did not come here and make it which means you are following me around reading my posts. I have not cross posted or brought anything from one place to the other.

    I don't understand the hostility. I really don't. I don't even know you.
I do Atkins. I have for years. I support the Atkins way of life. What makes me an outsider? Because I eat the bars and drink the shakes? Because I was lucky enough to be picked for the new book? Because I post a lot on Atkins.com?

Would it make a difference what I posted on or how often? I think for you even 1 post is too many.

I am sorry my presence bothers you.

I understand the version you follow here, I am not posting contrary to it. What really is the issue?

I am so happy to be with people who eat like I do. Who live the Atkins lifestyle. To me we are ONE big family. No matter where our online home is.

I saw those comments made by you about this forum also and trust me, I do not "follow" you around. I simply read at a lot of forums. You should not be surprised that some do not make you welcome here after those comments and now the wishy washy apology to boot. Maybe you could explain why you made those comments in the first place if you are so happy to be with others who are Atkins followers.

As another posted "you just do not get it" with a few things.

Re: Atkins in the paper this morning!

The issue, Baylor, is that you didn't come at ADBB to help people. You came here with the purpose of checking out on some people, promoting the new book and saying how awesome atkins.com is. You seem quite fixated on doing this.

"I see other people posting at both places with no attacks"

That's because they don't use other websites to promote a book or to say how fabulous other forums are.

"you are following me around reading my posts."

Baylor, believe it or not, we have better things to do than to follow you around.

        As you wrote,

If you are upset with me solely based on those comments, I am sorry. They are out there permanently. I can not take them back only apologize for them. I wandered over here and started looking around. When the new book came out I just was so excited I was at a lot of lc sites, just seeing what people had to say. I did not come and make a post about the book, I just joined one already going.

I am always interested in how other people feel qualified to judge someones apology or intent. I apologized because I see it hurt some people. I am sorry.

Still I think the animosity from one site to another is really silly. We are all on the same team after all.

Baylor, in the future, you might want to think BEFORE posting.

This thread ain't gonna die by itself... and we know this is how threads get locked.

Many of those involved here have been in a similar thread before... and that one got locked, too. Something to learn from this, don't you think?
