    if your porterhouse is trimmed of the fat then you need to add the fat back is all so you'd be eating a little less protein maybe an ounce or two for that same 10 ounces and a little more fat so you arer atknins legal.

      Actually, OWL is MUCH more than just that.

      And it's 5 net carbs per day, not weekly.

      So you would be eating 25 net carbs per day, instead of 20 net as on Induction.

      That's OWL Rung 1. There's 8 more ... all discussed in the book, Chapter 14.

      I have to go back and re-read. Thanks for correcting the daily vs. weekly. I'm not there yet, so I tried to give a general idea of what it was.

        I pan fry everything in plenty of lard or coconut oil or butter. Works for me

        As for fatty snacks, besides egg and cheese, it's best to eat a vegetable or protein with fat added to it to increase satiety. You can add butter and cheese (make sure not to go over 4oz a day) to veggies and pan fry your meats. Also don't be scared of skin and fat on the protein.

        A nice meal would also be some burgers (80/20) with cheese and mayo wrapped in lettuce. And maybe some steamed veggies with butter.

        Exercise: Stroll leisurely around Miami Beach 1-3 times a week, between 4-8 miles every time.

          i don't eat any soy not even soy sauce they say soy sauce is fermented but i know western culture does not ferment it properly to get all the toxins out

          also 58% of protein can be converted to glucose its not as bad as net carbs but if you eat to much its not good. a high protein, low fat, low carb diet is dangerous for your health

          thats why atkins is high fat, medium protein, low carb something like 65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs but don't worry if you eat higher than 65% fat
