Hi everyone, I know we talked about this once before. I worked out at the gym pretty hard yesterday with weights. I weighed 192 this morning I weiged 196? I think someone said they gained overnight from lifting. My question is how should I expect to hold this 5 pound gain? And does anyone know why I would gain that much in less then 24 hours?

You are an inspiration to me ... as I haven't been under 200 pounds in years! Anyway, like you, I can work my butt off at the gym, eat properly and still see a weight gain. I can only figure that even though I am eating the right foods, I am eating too much! You should be patting yourself on the back for even going to the gym... that scale can be a nasty thing sometimes. I know myself the power that nasty scale has over me. good luck and keep on losing!
