Re: negative posters
Can't believe I sat here and read this whole thread...anything to avoid vacuuming.
I have definitely noticed, since coming here 2 1/2 years ago, a change in the "tone" of some (a very small number, actually) of the frequent posters here who, IMHO, come off a bit snarky and sarcastic at times and often don't really provide a helpful answer to the question being asked. I always wonder why exactly they post here.
I especially wonder about individuals who never post pictures or any information about their own journey, stuggles, challenges etc. but constantly comment on others. Truly, anyone can join this (and most other) online communities and portray themselves however they choose--the person saying they are at goal for 10 years may be a 400 pound diabetic eating a box of Ding Dongs as they are writing for all we really know.
The ignore feature is a great way to avoid such posts/posters while still enjoying and benefitting from the advice, encouragement, support and information from the majority of people here who's knowledge, experience and advice I really respect and find helpful.
