That is the story of my life! I will lose upward of 2 lbs in a day and then stall, gain, and then lose again. Luckily right now I am on a downward trend but it could stall tomorrow AGAIN!

I based my goal weight at the weight that I remember being the healthiest and could maintain without much effort, 165, we are the same height, I was once at 150 but was a size 2 then, it took considerable effort to maintain that weight, I want to be thin, healthy and be able to manage it without suffering.

      Good luck!

You don't have to set one goal and stick with it. Set a 10% goal with mini goals along the way. When you get to that goal set another 10%. Offer yourself small rewards each big goal. Stop when you feel comfortable. The number we see is just that. What matters is how we feel about ourselves. I picked 150 but if I get to 160 and like the way I feel and look then I will stop. If I get to 150 and think I could stand to lose another 10 lbs then I will.

Any of you on here planning on losing as much as possible for wiggle room?

Hey! I'm so glad I saw this post!

We have the EXACT same stats, height...weight...frame...everything. And I had the same concern. When I was very active and in great shape I was 162, I couldn't imagine losing at least 12 pounds off of that!

I think that I'm going to go more off of my body shape than the number on the scale, its evil
