    Re: KFC Double Down

I think I'm going to make my own later this week using some pork rinds/parmesan cheese for the breading and some pepper jack cheese.

I did try KFC's but it wasn't worth the money and it really wasn't all that tasty. It didn't stall me so no worries. Sometimes cravings can be controlled much more than curiosity.

Eating something isn't always about whether or not it "stalls" you.

And as to "no worries", well, the trans fats and other nasty ingredients should be a worry to you!

It was a small part of my food that day and I actually only ate about half of it so I'm sticking with my no worries statement. My curiosity was satisfied while causing no noticeable effects to the way I felt. I wouldn't buy another one anyway.

Honestly, what matters most is if you tried it and hated it, you probably ain't going to be beating down the door to have it again; and even if you loved it, at that price, you'd have to have money burning a hole in your pocket to have it that often. It is what it is--one of many tools in an Atkineer's toolbelt; for use when you need it, and not something you have when you don't. It's a YMMV kind of thing.

I ate one. I had to be in the car and it was real quick and easy to drive threw and get this...I got the grilled one of course....IT was very yummy and probably had too much salt but worked in a pinch.

And a burger without a bun wasn't a choice? No wheat flour, no trans fats, no chemicals?
