Okay reread my book last night (specifically the Induction/Extended Induction and Starting OWL chapters)
If following the book and I am allowed 3 cups of salad veggies or 2 cups and one other veggie....I'm confused how that is supposed to be the majority of my carbs for the day.
Example:
For the day I eat 2 cups of mixed salad greens averaging about .8 net carbs for the 2 cups.
I then choose to have one cup from the other list...lets say 1 small tomato for 3.2 carbs.
That's 4 veggie carbs for the day.
So if I ate 20 carbs for the day....I am hardly getting most of my carbs from veggies.
Extend that example to Owl 1 - I add on 5 net carbs of veggies. That gets me to 9 veggie carbs out of 25.
Just confused.
