what i like about the before pictures is that NOBODY is perfect, so why strive for it? just be the best you can be

i'll never forget being in Vegas and seeing one of those Tropicana models wandering down the strip with more cellulite than me. that was a GREAT day. lol

FWIW, I actually wish my H would comment on my weight more. I'm all about brutally honest feedback and I don't get hurt when he has something negative to say. I want the hard truth because it usually is the kick in the rump I need to improve things. I've told H this and he knows it, but he still holds back, both with compliments and criticism.

One other FWIW: my H is very skimpy on the compliments all around. It took me the first 3-4 years of our marriage for me to adjust to this because I grew up in a family that is full of compliments and positive motivation. I finally got over it, but goodness did I spend some time angry at the man because I felt as though he never had anything positive to say about anything I did. He didn't say anything negative, either; he just didn't comment. I've since figured out that he is just a quiet guy all-around.

Unfortunately, too many in this world agree with your "nobody is perfect" statement. Actually, we are the person we were meant to be, if we chose to change ourselves we can (and those in here are), but the fact is in a world where we are all different (and how bored would we be if we were all the same)...

download photoshop and practice ;-) you TOO can look like that with the kind of retouching celebs get in magazines.

This is turning into a very sweet thread.

So I am going for the inbetween skinny/thin look. I would like to get to a low weight. Because, I hope in the next year, I can sneak in a pregnancy and be on maintanence. I'd like to not start my pregnancy again at 139lbs and then be 170 at birth. back then I stayed at 160 for 1 year after the birth then teetered around 143-147 for 6 months until restarting Jan 2010.

My husband is a very quiet guy although he will tell me when my butt is getting bigger. So I have a husband that does look at the faults. Damn men!

hahaha well Jax..if you do "Sneek" in a pregnancy, than doing it at a low weight is a great start!

you are making me laugh. DH will know what's up by month 4 and my belly is protruding. We've got to make some decisions soon about another one anyway since DH is getting ready to head back to Sea Duty. But I'll be a single mom if it doesn't happen soon. You military will understand what I mean by that.

d-day is the 30th. 7 days left as 29. I am very sad about it, just think how I'll feel at 40.

Forbey I have seen those acronyms before many a time. My grandfather (now deceased) had been a proud Marine.

My DH got to hang out on a British Naval vessel...did you know they allow them to drink beer? It's just like the British Navy to allow that!

We watched them loading a British ship one day, they were loading pallets of beer. Amazing!

As for your father...
