  • Lost most motivation:(

Ok so after I went to the states for a week and a bit I put on about 8.5 lbs :s beforehand I'd managed to shed 21.5 lbs in a few weeks. Anyway, now I'm back and have been for nearly 2 weeks and managed to lose 5 of the 8.5 lbs but I'm completely stuck for motivation. I'm just staying at this weight and not budging Any motivational tips? What did you do if this has happened to you?? Thanks

    Re: Lost most motivation

I know what you mean. I'm going through some what of a motivation-dry patch myself right now--different circumstances, though. For me, I'm just trying to eat on plan, but keep my mind off obsessing about every little thing. I made sure to pre-program my meals in for the day because it seems like it takes too long to do it for myself every day. I'm hoping to do each day's meal plan the day before, so all I have to do is follow it the next day, which will afford me time to get other things done rather than thinking about food all day.

Hope you get out of your slump very soon!

I"m stuck too, but I'm still better off than when I started. It's the little things that count--the jeans shorts that fit now when they didnt' zip at the end of last summer; The seatbelt in my DH's sports car that is now lose on the setting that I usually need; waking up and not feeling puffy.
BTW, after 4 weeks of the scale not moving, it fell 1/2 pound this morning. Hurrah! I upped my calorie count yesterday- w/ more meat-maybe that's what I needed? I'm trying it again today.

          Slightly off-topic:
Springtime allergies are getting to me now--but I remember always having swollen eyelids and fingers and feet before this WOE. I'm thinking now that I was eating something I'm allergic to on a regular basis. Guess I'll find it on OWL.

A little more (or different) exercise is a good thing to poke your fat-burning, and extra water.

I understand completely... but don't know what to tell you to fix it..

I too have been in a bad slump.. another little medical issue... and the hormones he put me on .... and some other complications have 'interrupted' my formerly gung-ho exercise and attitude...

I'll get it back... I know it will get better..

and I hope you get it back to good too..
