  • Need some advice PLZ

    OKAY so yesterday I weighed in at 350.2 which was FANTASTIC because the day before it was 358.6 I KNOW I KNOW I should not have weighed myself for a week- well I got so darn excited I weighed again this morning and it said 356.0I KNOW I KNOW I should have stayed off of it my hubby actually is going to take the scale he sayswe will see.... anyways my food yesterday was for lunch 2 hamburgers w/ two slices of cheese a small tomato and a pickle w/ mayo- for dinner I had a pork chop and a cup of green beans ALOT of water throughout the day and some pork rinds w/ butter cinnamon and splenda as a snack-could the weight be water from the rinds cause of the salt???? Are green beans allowed-they only have 2 carbs in half a cup??? I mean I am still down but that 6lb gain really upset me-I do feel like i am still in ketosis because of the metalic taste in my mouth and I have to force myself to want to eat I JUST DONT KNOW but I know you guys will PLZ give me some insight THANKS SO MUCH=

    Yes, they're called string beans or wax beans on the Induction food list.

    It doesn't appear you actually ate enough vegetables.

      I agree about the veggies and I have more water than you have to-today I had 2 cups of fried mushrooms onions and green bell peppers along w/ 2 minute steaks &3tbs ranch and I am not hungry at all-I may eat some burgers w/ a small salad w/ vin & oil Im making some deviled eggs later too=) I just dont know I think it's water weight=(

        How much water in ounces are you drinking? Many find success with drinking 1/2 their current weight in ounces of water, so that would be around 150 ounces of water.

        What did you have for breakfast?

          I dont have time for Breakfast really I am going to make deviled eggs and eat a few of them-I have 6-7 16oz bottles of water a day atleast-I am going to take my water pills today....

            You need to make time. You can't skip breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day. You can have leftovers or you could make something that you can reheat.

            More water will help you get rid of water.

              glad you are planning for breakfast by making your deviled eggs ahead iof time.

              if you are on prescription fluid retention pills you need to discuss with your doctor how your atkins ketosis which is a natural diuretic will effect you. are you on any fluid restrictions with those pills?.

              if you don't noramally do a lot of sodium then the salt from your rinds could easily add some fluid pounds as can other things.

              hang in therer and let DH put your scales way until day 15.

              BTW are you measuring so you can see the inches of body fat you are shedding even when the scales don't validate your hard work?

                thanks so much for all your advice and yes I do need to make time but my son who is Autistic is up most night till 1am or later he just cannot sleep and I refuse meds for him so I get about 6 hrs sleep and off to work I try to sleep as late as I can before I have to absolutely get up and get him ready and carry on w/ getting me ready I KNOW excuses excuses so I WILL from this point on quit w/ the excuses and get down to business PROMISE I am asking for advice and will take it=)THANKS guys it is very much appreciated and welcomed even constructive criticism I NEED IT I grew up w/ a very thin mother telling me how awful I looked and how I would never find a man who wanted a heavy woman that so much didnt bother me but now the problems from my obesity are very much evident and I am taking action=)YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST

                    Rep power is accumated as people send you rep points for making interesting/helpful posts across the forums or just sending you rep points becuase they feel you need a cyberhug or a virtual pat on the back.

                    To give rep points you click on the little 'scales icon' - looks like the sign for 'libra' at the top right of people's post- and you will be shown a box in which you can post a comment to tell the person you are repping why you are sending it. They can see any comments when they go to their User Control panel (link to 'user CP' at the top of the page).

                      as they say make hay while the sun shines.
                      since he is up and you are up why not cook breakfast then and then just reheat it in the morning? You can make egg ommlettes as muffins 12 at a time and freeze them for later use. you could cook bacon and eggs or anything else you like for breakfast wrap it, up clean up the kitchen ( which counts as exercise in the pres challenge if you'd like to join) and then when you get up pop them in the microwave for an easy on the go breakfast.

                      Heck you could even get tomorrows dinner fixed during that time too.
