  • Fat Fast Help!!

    I have been advised on taking the fat fast to boost the metabolism because i have been on the induction for 2 weeks done it too the book no slip ups and not lost a thing! If i stay on the induction will it come off eventually?? i never suffered that much either and have had no cravings at all! So any advise would be great on either the fast or induction!!!

          solitaire, could you post a few complete menus, with quantities and net carbs for everything?

            You mentioned in another thread that you are drinking 4 cups of coffee a day with cream. It's possible it's stalling you, and/or you are overdoing the dairy.

            Have you measured to see if you're losing inches?

            Post a complete menu, folks here are pretty good at recommendation improvements that might help the weight loss move along.

            Also, not everyone loses on Induction. How long have you been on Induction? And a stall defined by Dr. Atkins is four weeks of no weight or inches lost. Has it been that way for you? Only then should you assess how you're doing and consider which options are best for you.

            I've never done the Fat Fast, and trust me, my weight loss is slower than a snail. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they are truly in a stall and have tried all other options (like removing known stallers, checking with their doctor, etc., upping exercise, moving to OWL and adding more veggies, etc.) first.

            306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

            Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
            Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

            Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
            Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
            Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
            Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

                Are you eating your veggies yet? That was the issue last time you posted a menu.

                vegetables are important and help you lose.
