You need to up your fats, maybe eat some higher fat cuts of meats,ie ground beef, red meats pork chops etc, fry in oil, add some cheese to your omlette (don't over do it), what about salads? the dressings will raise your fats.

Seeing that you said 'tiny bit of olive oil' it seems like you are trying to low fat atkins? It will not work if you try to do it low fat.

try the mock danish. Bacon and sausages will add fat. Ranch dressing. Heavy cream. spazzyhilo posted a recipe for a cream cheese sauce that is good.

I eat a half of avocado almost every morning. It helps get my fat ratio up and it also suppresses my appetite.

not only did you get quick replies, but some excellent suggestions. I would add that you can drizzle cocanut oil over your salad or use olive oil and vinegar for a salad dressing.

                            Oh yes.. and addicting too!

                            1 oz cream cheese
                            1/3 cup heavy cream
                            1 chicken boullion cube

heat till all melted together, you don't have to wait for the boullion cube to break down all the way (I'd think I'd grow old waiting for that thing...) and pout it over your meat. It's great with chicken and asparagus

You can even sautee mushrooms first then add the rest of the ingredients on top of it - soo good!
