im think of starting the atkins diets but i keep hearing from people that the diet burns muscle aswell as fat.

This diet as opposed to low cal emphasizes getting your percentages correct (65F/30P/5C) with those percentages your body should be receiving enough amino acids to rebuild any muscles due to exercises. Why would the muscle break down muscle for ATP energy when you are eating a much easier fuel to break down, fat? Fat is much easier to break down for energy than protein.Kent - 35-M-6'4"
