I am so livid with myself. I was lazy for a couple days this week and didn't cook for myself. The meat I ate was all deli meat, ie, hot dogs, bologna, some processed chicken. On the third day, I stepped on the scale and I was up 9 pounds!!!!!!!!! I kid you not, I was 9 lbs heavier overnight. There is no other reason I could have possibly retained that much water (not TOM), but the horrendous sodium in the deli meats.
I implore all of you, eat deli meats rarely, or avoid them all together (what I usually do, and will from now on), or suffer the consequences!!
BTW, this morning, I am down two lbs, but I really am scared I will lose a lot of electrolytes as I get rid of that water in the next couple of days.
