Maysea, have a look at the ingredients and the nutritional panel on the side of the jar. This will help you decide if you can eat it or not.
If you see it has an ingredient that is illegal, then dont eat it.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

I eat it.
The carb count for a jar may be quite high, but you only use a bit of it - at least I can't eat more than a teaspoonful.female/33/5'

It says
3 1/2 oz half a jar
carbs 11.9g (of which sugars5.7g)
fibre 2.4g
how do i work this out do i count the sugar carbs and takeway the fibre?
11.9g - 5.7g = 6.2g - 2.4g = net carbs 3.8g
or count all carbs and takeway the fibre?
11.9g - 2.4 = net carbs 9.5g
their isnt any sugar alcohols in it
cant see any illegal ingreidients .soon to be slim

Look at the actual ingredients! I think it has sugar! Horseradish itself is fine, but the "horseradish sauce" that i have seen is not.
Look at what a "serving size" is and the carb count for that, only thing you can subtract is "fiber"

Not strictly true, Karen. In Uk, our nutritional panels are different and the carb count actually does include the fibre subtraction.Look at what a "serving size" is and the carb count for that, only thing you can subtract is "fiber"
So we what we see as the carb count is the actual carb count.

save yourself a lot of grief over your stalled out weight loss to be and make your own eithe by grating your own horseradish fresh and adding it to some mayo or by taking a jarred alread grsated amd brined horseradish and adding a bit of it to some mayo. I add a pinch of ground nustsard seeds too and save many carbs that way.
BTW horseradish is a natural diuretic so you should see a scale lose the day after you eat it if you haven't seen one in a few days.

yes, it's diuretic - Maribelle even gave me a recipe once which is called "a whooshie pie" and it uses a lot of horseradish :icondance .female/33/5'

I had meatballs for lunch today (along with sauteed crookneck squash, asparagus and a salad.) Anyway, I made horseradish sauce to dip the meatballs in. Soooo good.
The restaurant where I work makes their own horseradish sauce for prime rib---one jar of prepared horseradish and one gallon of mayo. That's it and 0 carbs. With some prime rib...gotta love it.
