Ok... another of my dumb questions... or rather, a question I can almost guess the answer to. I'm posting it here, not because Dr. A mentioned this when writing about exercise, but because reading the exercise part of DANDR got me thinking during my workouts these days.
So... lately it's been horribly hot and humid here. I've been doing my usual fast dog walk and exercise workout. No more, no less. But in this sticky weather it feels like I'm doing at least double. I need to consciously keep my rate up or I'd flag pretty quickly.
I just wonder if anyone knows... if you exercise in high heat and humidity, do you get an extra "bang for your buck" (to quote Dr. A), or does it simply feel that way?

The craziest thing is I still lost weight doing that!
