Yes thats how I am. Only very occasional will I think, "oooh I wonder if I have lost or put on weight". But then the urge soon goes.

So far, so good with me. I have not weighed myself yet. As I said before, this challenge is harder than I anticipated! I've had quite a few "skinny feeling" days, and I'd love to know what the scale has to say.

Funny, I've had a couple skinny days and a couple fat days. No rhyme or reason...once even the same outfit? What IS that?

Honestly...I can't wait til Sunday. I would love to say I'm not thinking about it...but I'm thinking about it MORE. Even if I was up on the scale, I think I had a pretty balanced attitude, it made me consciuos of what I put in my mouth, but didn't determine my mood for the day or anything. I am not ready for the sole weekly weighin yet.

                    Good morning Everyone!

I have stayed off the scale so far, but since I'm having a "I feel fat week " I'm afraid to get on the scale, for fear of being disappointed. If I don't started feeling less bloated, I'm going delay my weigh in. Otherwise its going to take me days to get over my disappointment. Unfortunately I have always been crazy lol!

pru, make sure you're drinking enough water, watch your salt intake. those might help with the bloating feeling. also, the girls need consider that dreaded tom thing. don't let that dictate the skinny/fat feeling days. going past the the official i-can-step-on-the-scale day, is perfectly fine

most everyone is doing really good, it seems!

from my journal, since I posted it there first:

Well, I am so disappointed in myself but I must come clean about something. I CHEATED!!! not on the diet but on my challenge. The no weigh one.
I was having one of those nights. I was bloated (not TOM though), feeling fat, and craving everything. What to do? Well, I used to go check my weight and see a loss and that was enough to motivate me. Well, that wasnt an option on the challenge so I go upstairs and get all my clothes out that didnt fit a few weeks ago hoping at least 1 thing fit now that didnt then. I needed something!!! I got nothing. I was horribly depressed and broke down, oh I really dont have an excuse. I just needed some kind of encouragement or soemthing.
To top it all off the scale showed NO LOSS! Well I guess thats what I get for cheating. Now i have to go tell that Im out of the challenge. I kinda feel like a loser. I guess we all fall short of our own expectations and goals sometimes. I know it happens and am trying not to beat myself up for it. I guess I have a fear more of disappointing others than even myself.

I really need to work on my own self confidence and not needing someone or something (scale) to validate me. I am starting to notice this is a huge prob for me. I lost 25 lbs and went to church wearing something fitting that made my loss soooo obvious I was sure someone would say something, and no one did. I felt horrible the whole day and like maybe I hadnt done such a great thing afterall. When I think about it now, thats so ridiculous! I really need to work on that, needing others to notice and confirm before I consider it a success. I am realizeing i have more to work on than just my weight. Being fat for this long has really messed with my self esteem, confidence, and self reliance.
                        You guys stay strong!!

                          mother,

when you start feeling more confident in yourself, i think people are going to start noticing more, not just the loss in weight and inches but the way in which you carry yourself. give you self confidence a boost and try wearing your outfit to church again and see what happens!

there will be other challenges with this many members and more and there always seems to be a no scale challenge going on where a few get together. you may want to try one of the challenges that last a week. you lasted over that this time!

I have stayed strong all this time and I am really feeling it badly now! It has made me think about it more! so much more than my once every 3 days like it used to be.
I know I won't be weighing myself until Sunday because earlier today I had my husband go hide it seriously.
I have even wanted to move to OWL rung but have stopped myself so that is eating me up too. Damn! Not weighing is not even an excuse, but I so want to see if these past 2 weeks I have stalled or lost and I want to know if I'm eating enough calories since my appetite has dimished over the past few weeks etc:
so many things weighing on those damm scales! and if I wasn't so needy for them atm, I wouldn't even be worrying about all that. ahhhhh I think I need a good sleep
I am counting the sleeps until I can be re-united lol
