  • 20/24 Challenge #1 ~ Semi Annual Challenge

    20/24 CHALLENGE
    BOARDWIDE CHALLENGE

    This is the award you can earn:

    This challenge is for any member of the ADBB but
    specifically targeting those who are not involved in any challenge or
    are not doing any exercise.
    The purpose of "boardwide" is to get as many members at one time involved.

    Here's how simply the challenge works:
    1. Sign up in this thread
    2. Commit to doing 20 minutes of exercise in one 24 hour period.
    3. Tell us what exericse you're going to do
    4. Live up to your commitment
    5. Post your achievement
    6. Earn the award
    The date this challenge will take place is
    March 12, 2007.
    During that day, do
    20 SOLID MINUTES
    of exercise.
    Don't stop for a break, don't answer the phone, don't take a nap.
    We want a solid 20 minutes of movement!

    Suggestions for exercise would be but not llimited to:
    • walk
    • jog
    • swim
    • bike
    • stability ball exercise
    • yoga
    • pilates
    • weight training
    • DVD workouts
    • Slim in 6
    • treadmill
    This is possibly the easiest earned award on this board.
    20 minutes in 24 hours..... now who couldn't do that?

    While you're contemplating, take time to look through the challenges provided
    by and hosted by other members of the ADBB. Perhaps, after you've gotten
    your feet wet (with sweat ) you'll decide to join one!!!

      To build the numbers up, I will commit to running for 20 minutes on that date at a minimum of 11 kms per hour on the treadmill.

      It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        I will run for that 20 minutes at 4.5mi/hr Been quite a while since I've done that!!!

            Count me in for that, I'll be doing a minimum of 20mins walking a day with my two dogs !!
            21 F , First Mini Goal 28th April to weigh 266 for a friends wedding.




            Andy My partner doing atkins with me, 29 M First mini goal 188 for friends wedding at the end of april.

                        yep! i know we'll get many that are already exercising but i'm not the challenge police.... yet.... although i did have to whoop up on erin a bit.... so anybody can join!

                              but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."
