    THIS IS SEVENTH 20/24 CHALLENGE
    aka: quite possibly the easiest and quickest challenge at adbb


    Here's how the challenge works:
    1. Sign up in this thread .... SIGN UP BEGINS NOW THRU JANUARY 10
    2. Commit to doing 20 minutes of exercise on JANUARY 11.
    3. Tell us what exericse you're going to do (this is not written in blood, you may change your activity)
    4. Live up to your commitment
    5. Post your achievement
    6. Earn the award

    The date this challenge will take place is
    JANUARY 11, 2009
    THIS IS A 1 DAY CHALLENGE


    During that day, do at least 20 SOLID MINUTES of exercise.
    Don't stop for a break, don't answer the phone, don't take a nap. We want a solid 20 minutes of movement!
    AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN ON JANUARY 12.
    If you don't post, you won't earn the award
    don't send me pm's... that won't fly
    Suggestions for exercise would be but not limited to:
    • walk
    • jog
    • swim
    • bike
    • stability ball exercise
    • yoga
    • pilates
    • weight training
    • DVD workouts
    • Slim in 6
    • treadmill
    • Wii fit
    • shoveling snow [sorry, no snow blowers]
    • sorry, housework does not count for this challenge. nor does home repair.


      This is possibly the easiest award you can earn on this board.
    20 minutes in 24 hours..... now who couldn't do that?

      I will say WATP will be my exercise if I am stuck at home due to ugly weather, but if I am at the club that day I will do the elliptical machine.

          I'm in. Will probably be 20 minutes of walking/jogging while pushing a 6 month old in a stroller around the neighborhood!

            this sounds great, I'm in and will be doing 20 minutes of treadmill (jogging)

              i'm so glad to see some of the pm's are being responded to! i had forgotten how much fun it could be to run down the list of new members. just looking at some of the usernames gets me smiling.

                I'm in. I will do at least 20 minutes of Cardio on elliptical at the Gym.

                  I will do at least 20 minutes of weight training. Not sure exactly what it will be just yet, but my personal trainer will have a new program for me tomorrow.

                        I would like to sign up to this challenge.

                        I intend to under take a 5 mile walk over the moors provding its not cloesed due to bad weather, then I will walk 5 miles around the local coastal path.

                          Have you seen our other home??? They should hand out Olympic medals for fixing up that old place.

                              I will do at least 20 minutes (probably 30-45) on either the Wii Fit Plus or my new Biggest Loser workout game. I got a 3' step platform for the balance board so the step workouts will be much more challenging and give me a better workout =)
