Hi Becky
I guess technically what I experienced wasn't exactly a stall (a month with out any loss) but, it sure felt like it! -And I know exactly how you feel. When I started the challenge I was at 205 - this was a comfort weight for my body because in the past I was at that weight for a while. The first 6 weeks of the challenge I wasn't losing every week but every other week. I was weighing myself twice a week for awhile to keep a closer eye on the my progress and I kept bouncing around those same 5lbs. I hadn't changed anything during that time that would've made the weight loss drag... so I just tried to up my water intake and waited patiently. Since I broke 200 my loss seems to have returned to the rate it was at previously.
I've seen lots of threads regarding stalls and if you wanted to read up on other people's experiences/solutions - a search would turn up a lot results. I've read about people increasing their exercise, their water intake... counting calories at fitday... keeping an eye out for foods that would trigger a slow down -some people decreased the amount of cheese they were eating, etc...
I hope next week goes well! :hug
