      Hi! I am down to 230.5, so half a pound lost since Monday. That is not too bad. I guess! I have been feeling really good lately and I am excited! I love this challenge. It really keeps me motivated!

      Cruisergal - CONGRATULATIONS! I can't wait for you to get to ONEderland! I want to be there too! I guess I will have to earn it like you did!

                        Hey all,
                        I haven't been posting because I'm up & down the same 3-5 pounds for like 2 months now.

                        Cleo - Your self sabotage post in the main forum was great. I also struggle with Friday Pizza nights. Last night we didn't get pizza, but I did get Chinese chicken wings (hey, that's a little better!), but I also bought 3 Frankenfood candy bars at the grocery store! Something about Friday nights... call it tradition, or stress relief, or I don't know what, but I'm ON A MISSION to eat something good (and by "good" I really mean "bad"). So, I'll have to work on that in the coming weeks.

                        Today I'm running a 5K road race. Yahoo! My goal is to beat my time from the 5K I did on Monday in 37:55.

                        My stats: 191/188.5/169 19.5 pounds to go until New Years!

                        There's 16 weeks til New Years
                        , so that's just over a pound a week for me. I can do that, I hope.

                          {{{{Effie}}}} Woohoo on your 5k! That is AMAZING! Girl, I know you and I know you can make goal by New Year's. Now don't make me come over and rifle through your drawers looking for the low-carb candies, because Lord knows those things give you the runs...and the only runs you want are the 5k's!

                          Thanks for the nice comments about the self-sabotage thread!

                          Now I have some homework for you:

                          Why is the tradition of the Friday night foodery so important to you that you can't let go quite yet? No judgements from me. Just self-reflection.

                              The amazing news for me this morning.....213.0 It's that amazing? lol! I'm back down from a week of worry wart of water retention....darn exercise anyways; I'm going back for more in a few minutes. lol!

                              Weigh to go on the -2 pounds!!!

                              Okay, so the Friday night pizza/family day started for us eon's ago when DH and I tried to do something important with the family....pizza was another way of getting out of cooking dinner & pick up. Now our youngest despises pizza, oldest could care less, dh's not paticular, and I don't eat "real crust". So, we either have FFY (fed for yourself) Friday's or I make dinner. We still watch movies, play games, or have things outside the house to do like soccer games, practice, shopping, etc. It's taken a lot of work to make these changes, but you'd be amazed at how much money I've saved! lol! Okay, so I've allocated in other places, but it's all good, right? lol!

                                LISA! You go girl!!! Way to go on the weight loss! I just started exercising and am stalled due to muscle mass increase. Not what I want to have happen with only 16 weeks left to go in the challenge, but what the hey! *lol* We all know that greater muscle mass leads to higher metabolism and a greater rate of fat burn in the end.

                                I agree that not ordering pizza saves a ton of money! Even after my kids got sick of piza, I was still ordering it-- for me. *lol*

                                As for Fridays, you know what I was thinking of... we do "breakfast for Dinner" nights on Saturday at our house. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, waffles-- you name it! It's easy, you can still eat low-carb and the kids LOVE it!
