    Hey Cleo, just noticed that you have my current weight wrongly recorded. I would love to be 163, but am actually 205.5! Wish you were right though, in a few months you willbe!

              Count me in ~ I am always up for a good challenge!!!

              I am currently at 199 and I have set my goal for 180 by Christmas. Now if by the grace of God I overacheive that goal ~ do I lose the challenge?

              Seriously I see how much you all want to lose by Christmas and I am thinking I better rethink this ~ hmmmmm ~ 167 is my new goal (when I met my husband 17 years ago, I was at that weight. )


              So I am going to climb aboard the polar express because the snow flies early in Iowa and there is nothing worse than walking in 4 inches of snow & wet sneakers! OH DREAD!!!!

                  Imagine us being HAPPY on December 31st, instead of thinking, "I wish..." ..."I wish"...

                  We're doing something new and unconventional here at ADBB... we're shooting FOR a New Year's and not merely FROM a New Year's!

                  We're getting rid of the regrets and replacing them with success!

                  Just envision all of us, on New Year's, looking slimmer in those party hats!

                  Shoot for your dreams, ladies! If you exercise and stay true, stick with us, and get ready to boogie on New Year's Eve, how can you not make it?

                    I just wanted to stop in and report that I didn't lose anything when I weighed in Monday. I stayed the same (sniff). But, I'm just glad that the scale is not going in the OTHER direction!!!

                    Hopefully, Monday will have better results!

                      <poking my head in> Hello! May I please please please join the Mid-Year Challenge to New Year's?

                      I know it's September 1st, and ya'll be rockin' away at the pounds since the mid of August...but I'm scared of the holidays, parties, and birthdays to come, and I don't wanna even think about ditching this WOE for something I know I'll live with regret over...especially if I'm exercising my rear end off. All that work for nothing, is what it would turn out to be.

                      Okay, so this is a rather long plea....but I'm hoping you'll take in another stray within your midst of wonderful company.

                      Today's 213.5....January 1st Goal....195 would be really nice.

                        Lisa-- are you kidding?! I'm so glad you're here! We've only been into this for a little over a week now, and one week isn't going to hurt you a lick!

                        I agree with you SO much! Ditching this WOE for the customary food practices of our nation is scary, and it seems like between birthdays and Holiday events, there'll be one thing after another for the next four months! An event each month, minimally!

                        I'm frightened! Hold me!

                        Wait-- no I'm NOT! We're all in this together, and we are SO going to look Paris Hilton hot on New Years!

                            Weekends are an excellent chance to do some more exercise! Whether you're walking the mall, working in the garden or walking through a national forest, get out and have some fun this weekend!

                              This week when you check in, I want you to have a goal for yourself for this week.

                              Not necessarily in WEIGHT, but in deed.

                              Maybe you'll vow to drink 100 oz of water a day... or exercise 30 minutes five times next week... maybe you'll just write down everything you eat in fitday to keep track of your food intake.

                              What is something you really would like to work on this next week?

                              For me, I vow that I will exercise for 30 minutes, 5 times next week!

                              If I don't get it into gear, I won't get it off my rear!

                                I just wanted to say that I got a scale.. so there is no more of this guessing, cause I can only weigh in at random times..

                                I typed the 170s without thinking...thought that was funny how my brain percieves myself.. I COULDNT POSSIBLY BE HIGH TWO HUNDREDS.. must be the ones, right...
