bla bla bla... wanna know the difference between us? you are front loaded in this bet and im slow and steady.... :P

Week 1 for me and I am down 5.5lbs... or 15.7% of my goal weight loss... and i fully anticipate to lose near that each of the 4 weeks.

well... not a jaw dropping loss this week... 2.5lbs.

but im ok with that. brings my total up to 8lbs and my % for this challenge up to 22.85%.

i fully expect to finsh strong next week and im setting an self imposed 1 week goal of 4lbs.

Re: Brookie Vs. The Wookie (Syrnett) Challenge

as of 9/18 i am up to 10lbs and 28.57% of my 35lbs goal weight lost (im down more then that already, but i dont count my weight loss until sundays).

even with B being out nearly an entire week, i think the deck is still stacked against me bit with regards to having a chance to win.

at this point, as long as B has lost 4.6 of her 16.2lbs, she is still winning... so im guessing she is still winning... by a long shot... lol.

will have to wait for monday to know for sure though.

                    till then,

WOWEE...Look how thin your face is getting!!! You will still be a winner even if Brook beats you! And you will just look that more pretty with the blue eye shadow...LOL!

Are you guys doing percentage of the weight you want to lose or percentage of your actual body weight you lose. I think Biggest Loser does it by actual percentage of body weight you lose....just wondering. Either way it has given you both incentive and that it what counts in the end! Keep up the great work!

we are doing % of weight we want to lose.... i initially thought % of body weight lost was fair, but since Brook has such a short way to go to get where she wants to be, it didnt seem fair.

                        im dreading this picture....

See? And here I was thinking that going by pounds would stack the deck in your favor BIGTIME. It took me a year to lose the last 15lbs! LOL

Time's goin' by wayyyy too fast, and as it stands, I'm not weighing in until Monday.

And final weigh is in a measley 11 days. Egads!

You guys are nuts. My friend and I did this once, who could lose 10% of their weight first... she was at 160 and I was at.. erm... a lot higher than her. We ended up both reaching our goals within 2 days of each other. I think the percentages work a lot better than the pounds... *cheers for Erik* (sorry, I just gotta see that 80s teased out hair).

1 week and 1 day warning!

Made some good progress this week. Im 1 day early on my weigh in, but I still dropped 4lbs. This bring me up to 14lbs and exactly 40% of my 35lbs goal weight lost.
