I've had a bad week too Rissa!!! We'll get thru it! I have no clue if I've lost or not, as my scale is so unreliable and I've not been able to get to the Drs office or fitness ctr this week. My DS is having a tough time recovering from a tonsillectomy he had on Friday and has been keeping me busier than a one armed paper hanger. I'm hoping I've lost because it's hard to eat when you're cleaning up sicky messes (trying not to be too graphic here-I grossed someone out earlier......) and I've run up and down the stairs a jillion times doing laundry from all the sicky messes....ughhh! He's doing better today finally, I think it was the rx pain med disagreeing with his tummy. Anyway, I'm just glad I haven't been tempted this week with all the stress........I am planning on a walk this evening as soon as supper is done and DH is home to watch the kids, and managed to use the fitness ball on Monday. Boy that thing was a workout just to manually pump it up!!!!

and elmark what kind of soups were you eating? i have been trying to figure something out to make but i have no clue what kinda soups i can make. i have been craving soup all week. hehe

Wow.....it sounds like you guys need a soup recipe!

I do a few versions of the same soup.

1:
Heat a little rapeseed oil in a pot. Add ½ a diced onion. Add chicken in dices or whatever. When the chicken is done, add curry powder and then some bacon and mushrooms. When the bacon is chrispy/done, add some chicken or veggie stock. Let it simmer for 20 minutes. Taste and add salt, pepper, curry (if needed) and maybe som herbes de provence. I like to add a little cream when I serve it. If a fuller soup is needed, add some sliced white cabbage and let it boil in the soup for 10-15 minutes until tender.
Freeze well

2:
Heat a little rapeseed oil in a pot. Add ½ diced onion. Add some veggie or chicken stock and bring to the boil. Split a cauliflower head into small pieces and wash very well. Add to the boiling stock. When The cauliflower is very tender, pour it all into and blender and blend until very smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add some cream to give it a very delicious consistency. Serve it with warm chicken or bacon dices and chives. For extra yummy-ness, whip some cream and put a great dollop on top when serving.....Almost whooshie-guarantee!

I hope you enjoy! I always just take whatever is in the fridge when I make soup.....
