Also, am I way behind were I should be? I had heard to estimate losing 10 pounds per month. That means I should've lost 70 pounds by now since I started in May. I've only lost a total of 44 pounds. I haven't cheated...so why haven't I lost more?

You are right where you should be when you take into consideration your age, metabolism, exercise, cheats, amount of water you drink, the types of foods you eat, how much you have to lose, etc.

The 10 pounds a month might hold true for some people, but after a while, even they will slow down. After 7 months on the program, I can expect to lose 4-5 pounds per month.

This week's weigh-in: 1 pound down.

The slowness this time around made it incredibly difficult over the weekend- I had to strongly fight the urge to quit several times!
But during the week should be much better. I won't give up yet!
