WOW! It's great to see that so many of you are reaching your Xmas goals already! Congrats to all of you!!! :icondance

Everyone is doing such a great job, and even if you don't make goal, you still accomplished plenty!

I wasn't going to weigh myself until the end of the month, but I just couldn't hold out any longer. I've managed to drop 2 more pant sizes in the last month, so I wanted to know how much I weigh now! I am down 4lbs and now weigh 206lbs!!! :icondance

Only 7 more pounds to go until my mini-goal! :joy

Somehow my update got missed last week....... and I am not really proud to report another 4lb loss..... only because I have been so sick for 4 days, and seem to be recovering really slowly

Well, this quest is temporarily suspended..

I'm officially out of the Christmas Challenge.

I had to go away, unexpectedly (under stressful circumstances) and in the 10 days I wasn't at home, I put on 3 pounds. It will be impossible, both physically, and emotionally for me to meet my Xmas goal now.

I won't QUIT this new style of eating, but will take a rest for a month or so, and hopefully, Holiday visiting and eating won't finish me off. :sadblinky

I had lost 41 pounds before this trip, and feel that will motivate me to become strong enough to start again, sometime in January.

Well, originally I had set my Christmas goal at 195. When I'd reached 197 and still had 5 weeks to go till Christmas...I changed it to 190.

For the past two weeks, I've been hovering between 191 and 192. I have upped my exercise this past week (going faster on the treadmill) and drank more water (if that is possible) and am trying to get to 190 before next Saturday.

I don't know if I will make it, but I am coming so close that I am still happy about it. Course would be wonderful if I did it. What a nice Christmas present to myself.

My goal is 190 as well. Due to some recent setbacks I doubt I will actually see it :no But I am so glad I have gotten so close :joy :joy And I know I will reach that number and surpass it in the very near future. Whatever the scale says on Christmas day I am proud and everyone else should be of themselves too! A pound loss is a pound loss, 10 pounds gone is 10 pounds gone. I am happily seeing my scale go down. I am not going to watch it creep up during the holidays.

Moregently:
Don't go. Again any loss is a loss. It can be so hard to get back on the wagon after a prolonged time off. The sooner you get bck on the better.

Christmas is just around the corner... Can you feel it? I am going out shopping today just to be around it all (even though I am just about finished shopping) :yikes :yikes :yikes
I just love all the hustle &amp; bustle and the feeling in the air!
For those who have reached goal, for those who have not (me being one of them).... We need to keep it in perspective. Take a good look at the numbers and the losses you have achieved! I mean, How great is that?!!! I love being so much lighter than when I started this challenge, and I know each one of us feels that way.
Moregently.... a month off is really a major fork in the road that you really may not want to travel down. Just a little word of caution from experience. If you need a goodie to feel festive at Christmas, there are so many great recipies, and so many s/f carb free products out there! I mean... the ice cream alone is fantastic, or the russell stovers chocolate, or you can bake up a festive pumpkin pie... So many options that won't make you have to start all over again. May the Christmas whooshie fairy keep the nasty temptation away from us all :icondance :icondance :icondance
So, as Christmas nears... we each need to think about what we have achieved, not what we haven't. Its a wonderful time of year and I hope we each one feel so fantastic, and have the very best Christmas ever!

Well, I made my original goal anyway! I had originally said 185, and this morning at the fitness ctr I was 184!!! Still have 2 lbs to make my 182 and don't know that I will make that, but it may be close! All in all, I'm pleased with 184 though! Much better than when I started!
