    I swear I posted this morning... HMMMMM,,,,, maybe i am crazy!!! LOL. Ok- I have been like an eating machine!!!! I ssweeeaaarr!!! What is up with me. I must be gonna start my tom in the next few days or next week. I always tend to eat more the week before and when tom comes I hardly want to eat anything- except chocolate here recently
    So, my totals are way way way to high today in my opinion. I better do another video tonight or something to try to make up for some of the extra calories...

    1781 cal
    34 net carbs
    20 minutes so far exercise
    80+ and still drinking water

    I had taco salad for dinner and should have posted my totals in before making it. I would have cut back the cheese and sour cream, and probably some of the meat too... I screwed up when I ate cabbage(carbs) and sausages(cals). But, now all that is gone and I WILL do better tomorrow!!!!

    Punkin- I hope your back feels better soon!
    Time- way to go on the water and exercise!!!!
    Kimmy- tom will pass soon and you'll be good as new!!!

      Rikki,

      I think you are being a smidge too hard on yourself my friend. You are doing great and will be to onderland in no time! I love chocolate during TOM as well. Have you ever tried Brook's chocolate thing? It is awesome (1 oz. cream cheese, 1/8 tsp. cocoa powder, 1 packet splenda)! It is so yummy and fills that void for chocolate nicely.

      I am dong fine today. I did not eat breakfast as I had grades due, but other than that I am fine. I did 45 minutes with Leslie today (3 miles) and I still feel like I am buring calories and that was three hours ago. I think that 45 minutes must be a key for me because I have never felt this refreshed and jazzed after exercise in the other days.

      I am happy to see you around. I miss you when you work-- everyone should work from home like me so we can chat all day!

        LOL_ I wondewred how you were on here all the time!!! Tuesdays are my days off so I should be around more tomorrow- but I have several things to get done tonight and tomorrow so I probably won't be on as much as usual Tuesdays!

          I just made something really yummy- probably would have been better with a hot pepper but I halved a green pepper, cleaned it out, stuffed a half with 1.5 oz taco meat, .5oz rotel, and .5oz cheese on top. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, longer if you like softer peppers- YUM!!!

            Rikki,

            I work for five online colleges-- Baker College, Kaplan University, National American University, Indiana Business College and Franklin University-- teaching English and speech so I am here at least six days a week (required by contract). So, I have certain threads set up to email me when someone posts to me and I basically treat this like another class. If you ever want to go to school online...just ask me!

              Rikki,

              Can I have Rotel on extended induction? It sounds super yummy.

              You know, some mushrooms chopped up in it would beef it up more and probably be good too. Oh, I know you could use no sugar pizza sauce in place of Rotel, use mozzarella, ground beef or sausage (or both) and some mushrooms and have a pizza thingy! Oh, ok...now you have gone and made me hungry!

                  Yum, great idea!!! I bought some veggie sausages so I don't have to eat so many calories and they are still low carb(1net carb for 2 links)

                  I think you can have rotel as long as it doesn't have added sugar and you don't go overboard... I normally buy Walmart brand tomatoes with green chilis and its good without added sugar. Tonight I actually had rotel with lime and cilantro- yummy too but higher carbs and cals

                    I can see your posts. I even saw the one you did this morning actually. I have some rotel so I may have to give it a whirl to see how it turns out. My Dad grows those spicy, but not hot peppers that are yellow (can't remember the name), but they would be really good stuffed with pizza stuff. Oh my gosh...you could even make them as appetizers (they are small) and serve them at Christmas!

                      yum that sounds good... I bet it would be good to stuff jalapenos with a bit of it, cook for a litle while then add the cheese later and put back int he oven for about 10 minutes to melt. I tried stuffing jalapenos with cheese one time and it burnt .... but maybe if you cooked it first then just cooked it enough to melt the cheese. YUM... I think you are talking about banana peppers? I love those on pizza~!

                        Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing great!!! I am still in michigan but am flying home tomorrow. I am glad to be going back to my routine because I do AWFUL when I'm off of my daily routine. I go way overboard on the legal foods and have a hard time getting in my exercise. I did exercise once this week, I did a whole hour on a crosswalker treadmill, it was a great workout!

                        While I'm positive that I gained weight this week while I was away, I'm going to try to focus on a few positive things..
                        - I didn't cheat!! There was cake.. cookies... candy apples.. halloween candy everywhere.. and it was all calling my name.. but I said no!!
                        - I actually had my first "Normal" TOM that i've had in a few years this week! I felt awful and bloated and it totally sucked.. but this means I must be getting so much healthier since I actually had one this month!!! Now I just have to be really careful about not getting pregnant...
                        - I am determined as ever to get back to my routine and work out like crazy when I go back tomorrow!!

                        Hopefully the damage won't be too bad, but I won't really know until thursday for sure. Tomorrow I get to be on another fun 5 and a half hour plane ride. Take care everyone!

                          I am sure the familiarity of the routine will help you get back in the swing of things. We went on vacation while I was on induction and it was hard on me too. I had not started exercising yet though so it was staying legal that gave me trouble.

                            Hi Mary Good to see you- I bet you didin't gain an ounce!!! You did great keeping it legal even if you did go overboard! Better than eating all of that JUNK!!!! That stuff would have immediately attached itself to your bootay and thighs- Good Job! Have you thought of joining the 6wec? I joined and deb is in to. I don't know about our other members. I have committed to doing 4/7 days however I have exercised the past probably 10 days or so! I am feeling mighty fine! vacations used to be my biggest downfall with this diet- The whole- I am on vacation completely diet and all! I am better about it now... but I would always set myself back a bunch EVERY vacation!

                            That little evil scale keeps tricking me . I am thinking of just weighing once in the morning because what I have been doing is weighing like several times until I get the same number a couple, three, or so times... It alsways seems to be less when I first hop on... Digital scale- what can I say... It said 200.8 the first time this morning then said 201, then said 201.8, then decided to say 202 a couple of times. So, 202 it is for today. maybe it will go down tomorrow

                                We would be honored for you to join!!! Welocome to our cozy little challenge!!! WOW- you are on rung 6 and keep it under 20g carbs? I would love to hear about what you eat daily! I am doing a modified version as well. I guess it isn't inductin because I eat more veggies, but I am not moving down the rungs either. I have been trying to control my calories so I am adding more veggies, which makes my carbs go up. Still induction friendly veggies just more than 3 cups usually~ Keep us posted on how you are doing or we'll have to come after ya!!!! LOL
                                Do you have any other goals for this challenge? maybe you could set a short term Thanksgiving goal as well! Just a thought! TTYL!
