    I'm still doing okay! Thought I was all better yesterday but I found out later that I was wrong lol! Oh well. I was down to 196.8 today, so I past my -65 pound mark, yay! The size 16 pants that I bought that are too small are getting really close to fitting! Maybe another 5 pounds or so and I might be able to wear them. I am excited!

    How's everyone else doing?

        Glad you got yourself up and tried again, deb!! Everyone falls off now and again, just a part of the game. I know it's hard when we feel we are working so hard and not seeing the results. Atkins always comes through in the end though, trust me! I know you;ll be seeing results any day now and feeling great!!

          I agree deb, it is definitely all part of it!!!!! Well, I am bummed... that evil scale has not been nice to me lately- I won't tell you what it keeps saying about me, but if it keeps tesing me I will throw it out!!!!! Oh well.... better luck tomorrow!!!!

          Mary- you are really passing me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm jealous!!!!
          I think maybe when I did 2 riu+tj20 I made my muscles start retaining water again, so we will see in a couple of days. I am really thinking of weighing in once a week instead of daily... hmmm......

            I know I am getting really annoyed here! I've been sick a whole week with this bug. It's nice in that it is helping me lose weight really quickly and all, but I would like to get better about now!! At least my headaches went away and I only feel naseous after eating solid foods. But I am getting sick of jello!!

            Well at any rate, it got me down to 195.75 today, even if it was because the flu, I will take it!!

            I'm glad my posts are not contagious to anyone!!

              wow- you have passed me up by far!!!!!!! I am gonna have to go on a jello diet!!!! LOL... I am planning on making some chili tonight... Just sounds so good. I went and got some sharp cheese and sour cream to go with it. I think I am calling it a rest day again today b/c I just don't have time... I just got home from work adn we are supposed to go help some friends clean the house they just bought before they move in..... I am tired. I will get up early though and I need to start being more careful of my foods..... I need to cut my calories and remember to put everything!!!!! in fitday!!!!

                I am here slowing recovering from my fall from the low-carb wagon. It seems very useless right now though. I am never gonna get this weight off. I lose it and it comes back!

                  Joining late is better than never!
                  Long story short! Was a part of the board ages ago, lost about 30 lbs, all was shiny happy. Then I moved across country and life turned upside down! Now a year later i've gained it all back (plus 2 or 3 more actually!) and am slowly trying to get back in the habit of coming here! What I missed most was the x mas challenge last year that kept me motivated to lose the weight, its awesome that challenges are still here!

                  So here's the deal!
                  1. 190something by the new year (1 yr anniversary's on the 8th, so that would be a nice little present to myself)
                  2. exercise of SOME kind 3-5 times a week, and not just walking from the car to the door!
                  3. at least 100oz of water a day!
                  4. Stick to induction foods!
                  5. No scale obsessing!
                  6. Measure inches every monday!

                  GOALS
                  ~~~~~~~~
                  CW: 211
                  1GW: 200 (by X mas, about 1 month)
                  2GW: 190
                  3GW: 180
                  End Weight Goal: 160-170 (By my 21st birthday, April 18th)

                    Deb, deb, deb- You have been so helpful and motivational to me! I wish I could return the exact same favor!~!! You can do this! It will come off.... My stknkin evil scale has went back up above 200- what the????? It will sway both ways, but if you stick iwth it- it will come off@!! Did you ever take measurements? I bet you have lost several inches????@@!!!!.... my typing is very bad tonight, please excuse it!!!! LOL... Girl- I better see you posting more here and I look forward to you telling me all the wonderful low carb meals you are eating

                          Hm... stuff about meeeee...*thinks*

                          Welp i'm 20, and been living in the Chicagoland area for about 8 months. I'm originally from Tx where I was born and raised. I played soccer obsessively as a kid, for about 8 or 9 years, which is probably the only thing that kept me from being an obese kid, as my eating habits were just aweful! So as a kid I was very active and a happy kid, but from about the age of 8 or 9 I was very... "chipmunk" lol!
                          Through high school I was always oh, about 20-30 lbs overweight at any given time, but because i'm rather tall I could carry it well, and never bothered to do anything about it. Moved to Austin after high school and shot up to around 212 (right after the parents messy divorce). Started atkins soon after that, hard core no cheatin, lost around 30 lbs in 2 or 3 months and pretty much kept it off for about half a year. Then I moved to illinois and life turned upside down and so did my eating habits. Gained it ALL back to the pound almost (hovering between 211-212), and now here I am!
                          the first time it worked so well because I was not working and devoted my whole day to my eating plan. Now I work full time which makes things a little hairy, but still very acheivable!
                          My idea weight will most likely be around 165, because I am tall and not small boned. But I can't remember BEING 165 (I didnt really EVER weigh myself until I was 17, and then I was around 170-180) So we'll just have to see.

                            I am still here!! Have finally been feeling better thank goodness, I was starting to get worried that I might be pregnant or sommething lol! Back to solid foods and am trying not to eat too much now that my appetite is back!! Don't worry you're going to pass me by any day now, now that Im off my Jello diet lol!

                            Deb; How are you feeling today? DON'T GIVE UP!!! I know you'll figure out what's stalling you and then your weight loss will pick up. We all falter occasionally -- it is HUMAN!!! Just keep asking questions and picking up tips on this messageboard and you'll figure it out. The same thing happened to me, I lose much more weight now then I did at the beginning because I was still learning so much about atkins. I needed to identify trigger foods that caused me to overeat, I needed to figure out how to stop eating when I was full, I needed to figure out exactly what carbs were okay and what carbs weren't, etc. It is a learning process, don't fret, atkins does work though, and it will work for you!!

                            Okay here's a story I thought I would share:
                            I was at wedding messageboard today that I visit, and someone had a thread about how her wedding was 2 weeks away and her dress was a little too small on her. About four people recommended that she go on a crash diet or take some diuretics. Then the original poster mentioned she had been doing atkins.. and then someone posted and told her that that atkins was an unhealthy diet. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? And it was the same person that recommended the diuretics!!! Ack I just don't get people!!! Luckily the original poster figured out how to fit into the dress and said she was happy with atkins. Phew!!

                                My friend had a baby boy last night so I will be goign to the hospital this morning. I am so excited!!! The scale finally went back to onederland this morning too- after going potty I weighed in at 197 twice!!!! I am so excited!!!! Yeay!!!! Look out Mary I am catching up!!! LOL
