  • Mid-Year Resolution Thread, Nov.7-12

Hello! I know I'm up at 3am. *lol* I had the worst dream tonight and it freaked me out!I've been working on the magazine, having to do some over, and we're moving forward. I somehow lost about 20 pages, so I'm starting over in some ways!

I hope you are all doing well!

    Remember:

Treat the rest of this challenge as though it is the last 2 weeks of the challenge.

What would you do differently? Put this into effect today! You can do it!

    J~

PS. I am terribly sorry for my absence. This magazine has been taking up a lot of time. I will try and be here slightly more this week! Especially if I can keep from erasing major portions I spent hours working on. *l*

Morning Cleo - sorry to hear about the magazine problems. It'll all be worth it in the end!

As I've mentioned in about 18 other posts between yesterday & today, I'm taking the pressure off of myself. Mainly, that means I'm not going to weigh myself. I can already feel a difference this morning. I got out of bed early, I have my running clothes on as we speak, and I'm thirsty for water. It's perfect! I think my morning ritual of waking up, wondering what I weigh, and then standing on the bathroom scale before my eyes could even adjust was NOT the best way to start the day.

I WILL weigh less on New Years than I did when I started this challenge. Ok, I'm off for a run!

{{{Effie}}} I think that sometimes weighing can be a very stressful thing. I say whatever works for you will make for your success in the end! I hop you'll still stick around for the challenge, and I wish you a wonderful run this morning! It's so good to have you back.

              Re: Mid-Year Resolution Thread, Nov.7-12

Hello everyone! Hope you all have a good week. I had a good cheat free weekend. I am back on induction and doing fine. I am not going to weigh until the end of the 2 week period. I am starting to get SOOOOO stressed about the upcoming holidays and how I will do staying on plan. Does anyone else wish they didn't subscribe to magazines this time of year? Southern Living is the WORST for me. The foods in there look so good that my mouth actually waters looking at them. I am going to have to stick to decorating magazines ONLY from now on.

Effie--Glad to hear you are up and going to exercise this morning. So happy you are back with us! You have been missed.

Lots to Lose--forgive yourself and get back on the wagon. We can do induction together the next 2 weeks okay?

Jamie--Sorry to hear of the magazine woes. That is so frustrating to work so hard on something to have to disappear like that.

              Have a good day everyone!

LOL lots! Yeah, baby! I'm all about the moving forward.

Tammy! Hey baby! I get BHG magazine, so I am fortunate. I don't want to eat the felt ornaments on page 73. I was apt to lose the magazine sooner or later. Now that I've hit my union quota, it's onward and upward.

                    What would I do different?
Nothing as far as the weight coming off as I think I am doing really good that way. I would like to have the dedication I did in the beginning with induction where everything was entered into fitday and the ratios were right on and I was eating my salads and LOTS of water everyday. But I continue to work on that and don't let it give me the excuse to eat whatever I want. I am still staying legal.

On a happy note I decided to clean out 2 dresser drawers today and what fun to fit into tops that I hadn't worn for a long time or even better to have them hang on me!

Hi Zoesmom! Let me welcome you to our challenge...are you ready for the rules?? Well there aren't any really. Most of us check in once a week with our stats...some of us don't because they aren't weighing every week. Whatever works for you. Cleo posts some good questions at the beginning of the thread for the week...so take a look at them and see if it gets you thinking. Give support to the others if you can and post when you need support or just want to check in.

That's it. I added your name to the list. It is updated all the time so you just check at the beginning of the threads if you want to see what is happening.

I'm still here...no weight loss to report but I'm waiting for TOM. I seem to lose a lot of weight during TOM and nothing much during the rest of the month. Strange eh?
