YES! I did! Awesome show as per usual! I'm glad they finally sent Andrea home. I don't think she belonged there anymore. I am ticked they didn't show her now. They said to check the website but it was flooded tonight and their vids never seem to work!

Just finished watching and I said the same thing about Andrea. I am glad that the boys were willing to make it a real competition!! And I think it was wrong of them not to show Andrea's after picture tonight!! What about those fans that don't have access to a computer. Besides which she should have gotten her moment of glory too!! It's over next week...

            Hey All!

Just wanted to slink in out of the shadows while I have the courage to do so and post an update....

I have had a really hard time sticking to plan for the last 2 weeks. I don't really know what my problem is?! Fear of success, maybe? I just don't know!?! It seems like every time I start doing well and finally make some progress I fall back into my old patterns and sabotage myself. Why oh why do I do this to myself?!?!

Anyway, as I said before, I have had a really rough time the last 2 weeks trying to stick to plan. I got into the "this one little bite won't hurt" syndrome and you know how the rest of the story goes. I have been lurking around the boards ashamed of myself, and afraid to post, but finally decided that it was time to quit hiding out and face the music, so here I am. All 233 pounds of me!!

Tonibaby! Welcome out of lurkdom! Don't be ashamed to post here! EVER!!! That is what we are here for. To give support to each other. The good side Tonibaby is that according to the chart you have not gained anything. Take that as darn lucky and now is the time to get down to the nitty gritty! You know you can do this. You know it can be done. And you don't want to end up heavier after the holidays. So even if you do end up slipping again everyday that you give yourself sticking to the plan you will be better and further ahead than if you didn't. One day at a time...one meal at a time...YOU CAN DO THIS!

Please keep posting. If you have to come on and post 20 times a day....if that is what it takes do it.

I have a rule of no eating at the puter so it helps me to be on here posting and/or reading.

Are you ready for a successful day??

Toni-- don't sweat it! I'm back on day 3 of induction. It is difficult getting rid of things from our systems we've been feeding ourselves our whole lives! Think about the cycle you're breaking for your daughter and for yourself! She woin't have to grow up and fight what we've all had to fight. I'm doing this for my family as well as myself.

But I'm not kidding you. It's darned hard!

Elsie is right on--use us for accountability. That's what we're here for. I behave because I'm accountable to you more than for myself.

Re: Mid-Year Resolution Thread, November 20-26

Well, my 2 day re-induction is over, and I feel fantastic and back in control, which is exactly what I needed to achieve. Today, I'm back in OWL - Fruit - 30 net carbs, and doing great!

And I'm only 1.5lbs away from my MYR goal! Hurray!

The plan for this evening is -- Spinach Lasagna for dinner (from Linda site), knocking out Si6 - Start it Up, and finishing loading a whole bunch of stuff onto eBay that we've had sitting in boxes waiting to sell! [I got through half of it last night in an attempt to make a bit more money to spend on Christmas!]

I must start working on my mother's Christmas gift -- she just started Atkins last week, and so for Christmas, I'm gonna make her a big cookbook of low carb recipes, each with a marker indicating which phase/rung they're acceptable for, and all of its nutritional information. And of course, I'll make it look all pretty & uniform with my trusty Adobe InDesign. I'm pretty excited about it! Its gonna look fantastic.

YAY ELSIE!!!! That is so awesome - congrats on reaching your MYR goal!!! Weeee!

Are you gonna set a new MYR goal? I was thinking about this this morning. I weighed in at 146.5lbs this morning, so I'm going to reach my MYR goal early too, but I think I'll make a new goal of 140lbs by New Years once that happens to keep motivated.
