  • STAC New Year's Challenge Dec 11-14

    I, myself, haven't checked in during the past two days. I've stayed totally on plan, except exercise, because of a back injury.

    It's paid off -- beautifully. I was down another two pounds this week!

    First time around: 218/147/135 -- 71 pounds lost
    This time around: 193.5/184.5/135 -- 9 pounds lost

    Down 33.5 pounds from highest weight

    I'm so glad I saw your post in the main forum about this challenge, Chris!! I lost 3.5 pounds this week!! WOOHOO!!

    Food:
    Sat: On plan
    Sun: On plan

    Exercise:
    Sat: The swim meet started late and ran late, so unless I can count jumping up and down and screaming my dd's name during her 5 events (total=<6 minutes), I have nothing.
    Sun: 45 minutes elliptical trainer

    Water:
    Sat: 128 oz
    Sun: 128 oz

        WOW!! This challenge is really paying off big time! I'm so glad Cleo thought of it. I think several of us are going to be really happy people on New Year's Eve!

          For 12/12:

          B: 5 slices bacon, 1/2 red grapefruit
          L: 2 boiled eggs, 2 oz cheese
          D: 12 oz steak, 3 cups green leaf lettuce (which just went from 71 cents/pound to $2.61/pound ) with 2 Tbsp greek dressing and 1 oz feta

          Water: 128 oz

          Exercise: 75-minute Spinning class

            This weekend I fell of the wagon so hard, I'm still bouncing ... I’ll spare you the details.

            I started Induction again yesterday. I stuck to the plan very well, water, exercise and a very serious discussion with myself!!

              I've eaten according to plan, drank my water, and even exercised every day since December 10th. I am down 3lbs from last week. Yay!

                Yesterday, 12/13 was a good day:

                Ate on plan.

                Exercise: 70 minutes Elliptical Trainer (yes, my toes went to sleep!)

                          I haven't checked in regularly due to bootcamp responsibilities but I have been on plan since Dec 4th without a lick.

                          Before the 4th I had two minor transgression on the 30th and the 3rd I did not make a few poor choices at parties but I did not make major errors.

                          Since the 4th I have survived decorating gingerbread houses lick free. I had my GKids lick my fingers instead. Plus I survived another party today with out a single error.

                          I am on plan for food and water
                          I am off plan for exercise due to a foot injury and a bad cold but I am at my minimum exercise level of 3 x per week 20 min. I will get back up to the 150 min goal next week.
